The new library is approximately five times the size of the old facility and was designed by library architects from PSA-Dewberry and built by Pogue Construction. The beautiful new Rockwall County Library is a focus of community life and county pride.

  • STAR Transit Public Transportation The citizens of Kaufman, Rockwall, Navarro, and Ellis counties must call a day ahead to schedule a ride to any destination within their counties. Medicaid clients can schedule bus trips to Dallas area hospitals and doctor's offices Monday through Friday. Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
